I've been wanting to put myself 'out there' for a while, but shyness, laziness, doubt and all kinds of creepy things creep in that are self-limiting (and pointless). Cat's Quilt Challenge is "Connections" and blogging is one way to make connections with people of like spirit, like mind. Quilting and art-making another way to put what is in my heart and head and hands out there...for connection.
So, I'm working on the design for "Connections" and cutting fabric and basically, doing jigsaw puzzles with the pattern pieces until I come up with something that feels like connection to me.
I wish I didn't have to work full-time so that I could spend more time sewing.
